Horizons.
Interiors, wildlife and beyond.
Recent work
Birds, Animals, the Open Field.
For years I painted what was around me: the kitchen table, the angle of light on a wall. Lately the work has widened out, to golden pheasants and parrots, a single hare across a snowy field.
Selected history
From the 1980 RA to the Henley Trail.
Forty-three years of exhibitions and commissions.
The first painting hung publicly was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 1980. The studio has continued, in various rhythms, ever since: solo shows in Wallingford and Cookham, long-running group affiliations at the Fire Station Gallery in Henley, mosaic commissions for schools, churches and hospitals, and most recently the Henley Arts Trail and the Watlington Sustainability Fair.
